We invite applications for a one-year, full-time opportunity at St. Anne’s School in an exciting new Associate Faculty, Social Science role. The Associate Faculty, Social Science member supports students at St. Anne’s School through teaching, coaching athletics, leading co-curricular activities, and/or supervising students.
St. Anne’s School seeks a talented and caring educator who will contribute to the full life of the school as we enter the 2025-2026 school year. You are a certified teacher at the beginning of your career looking to build strong relationships, communication, and teaching skills.
Responsibilities:
Teach three sections
Coach three terms of athletics
Provide class coverage throughout the day as needed
Engage in school life through active participation and supervision in a variety of activities, including athletics, arts, clubs, intramurals, community outreach, and councils
Supervise students and embrace chaperone duties for day and overnight excursions
Support the School Administration team with a variety of tasks that enable the day-to-day operations
Work collaboratively with colleagues
Participate in supervision, duty, and evening and weekend events as required
The successful candidate will have:
A Bachelor’s degree, B.Ed., and membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
Intermediate/Senior social science qualifications, which can include the humanities, geography, and history.
A strong athletic background and experience with competitive sports.
An interest and experience in robotics, and technological design.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
The ability to positively contribute to athletics, co-curricular programs, and school life.
A growth mindset, curiosity, and willingness to accept new perspectives.
Demonstrated experience as a team player and the desire to become fully immersed in the school’s positive and progressive culture.
