We invite applications for a full-time teaching opportunity at St. Anne’s School in the role of Mathematics teacher, reporting to the Assistant Head of School, Director of Upper School. This position will begin in August 2025.
St. Anne’s seeks an exceptional educator to teach Mathematics in the Upper School, with potential course assignments including Calculus and Vectors, Advanced Functions, and Grade 11 Functions. Experience with Statistics and/or AP courses is considered an asset. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to uphold program excellence and maintain high standards for student learning, progress, and support. In consultation with department members and the Director of Academics, the Math teacher will demonstrate flexibility with course offerings and deliver innovative, inclusive curriculum using compelling instructional practices while ensuring alignment with department policies and Growing Success criteria.
Candidates are required to hold a B.Ed., ideally with an Honours Specialist in Mathematics, and preferably be certified to teach in Ontario or in pursuit of this designation. Candidates will bring a thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and the Growing Success requirements. Other key requisites of this role include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement. Additionally, we seek candidates with a demonstrated willingness to participate in and/or lead EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) initiatives within the community.
