At St. Anne’s School, our vision is to create a culture where wellness is an integral pillar of our community. By supporting the social, emotional, and mental well-being of our students, we are embedding every aspect of school life with a deep-rooted commitment to wellness as students prepare for a constantly evolving world.
The SAS Wellness program is a multifaceted initiative that involves all members of our school community. This program is modelled around an understanding of girls’ social and emotional development and integrated into the life and culture of the school to promote student well-being, foster a culture of positive mental health, and cultivate a healthy community. This includes running various wellness initiatives to help each member of our community develop well-being strategies that benefit their minds, hearts, and bodies.
Wellness is everywhere at St. Anne’s School:
- advisory programming
- workshops and guest speakers
- mindfulness and yoga classes to promote physical and mental health
- student and staff wellness committees
- faculty resources for social-emotional learning and mental health awareness in classrooms
By emphasizing the values of gratitude, healthy lifestyle choices, and positive interpersonal connections, students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while building lifelong skills to help them make meaningful connections to SAS and the broader community.
