We invite applications for a full-time teaching opportunity at St. Anne’s School in the role of English teacher reporting to the Assistant Head of School, Director of Upper School. This position will begin in August 2025.
The school seeks an exceptional educator to teach English at the intermediate and/or senior level. The role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure program excellence and uphold high standards for student learning, progress, and support. In consultation with faculty members and the Director of Academics, the English teacher will prepare and deliver an innovative, inclusive curriculum, employ compelling instructional practices, and ensure alignment with department policies and Growing Success criteria.
We seek applications from certified teachers holding a B.Ed., with an Honours Specialist in English and several years of experience teaching English at the intermediate and senior level. AP experience is an asset. Candidates will bring a thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and the Growing Success requirements. Other key requisites of this role include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement. Additionally, we seek candidates with a demonstrated willingness to participate in and/or lead EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) initiatives within the community.
