Jr. Basketball Earns CISAA Silver in Playoff Run
The Jr. Basketball team closed their season with an impressive silver medal finish, showcasing determination, skill, and teamwork throughout the playoffs.
In a thrilling semi-final matchup against second-seeded Lakefield College School, the Cygnets delivered an outstanding defensive performance, securing a hard-fought 31-26 victory to punch their ticket to the finals.
Facing Ridley in the championship game, the team gave it their all, playing with heart despite the exhaustion from a tough semi-final game. Though they fell short in the final match, the girls left everything on the court, earning their spot as silver medalists.
We could not be more proud of each player's growth throughout the season, and we are excited to see what lies ahead for them in their Grade 10 year.
