The spirit of entrepreneurship and leadership soared as the St. Anne’s DECA team travelled to downtown Toronto alongside St. Andrew’s to compete in the 45th annual DECA Provincial Competition. The SAS team of nine ambitious students proudly showcased their talents across various business sectors, each with their eyes set on qualifying for the prestigious International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando this April.
A special shoutout to Lauren G., who competed in Human Resource Management and achieved an outstanding feat by placing in the Top 10 for Case Study 1 and Case Study 2. Her analytical prowess and strategic thinking stood out among competitors across the province.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there – history has been made! For the first time, St. Anne’s has provincial champions. Congratulations to Onna O. and Maja C., who dominated the Hospitality and Tourism cluster. Their dynamic teamwork and innovative solutions secured them the title of Provincial Champions in the Travel and Tourism Team Decision-Making Event. Onward to Orlando!
A heartfelt congratulations to all our provincial competitors for their hard work, dedication, and impressive performances. Your commitment to excellence has made SAS proud. As we celebrate these achievements, we send our best wishes to Onna and Maja as they prepare to represent St. Anne’s on the global stage at ICDC this April.
